The social media network has now decided to launch Internet.org in Pakistan through telecom company Telenor.

After the raging success of Internet.org launched by Facebook in India, the firm received an excellent response from the South Asian region which is why the social networking site has decided to carry out the same task in its neighboring country now. Among the many countries that the media company is planning to launch this venture in, Pakistan is the next one after India. The social media giant has collaborated with Telenor, which is one of the biggest telecom services providers in the country.

Internet.org is an app which for those areas of the country where internet providing services are generally unable to reach. Internet.org through Telenor will be providing free access to the users for around 20 websites, as stated in a recent release. According to a report by Bidness ETC, Telenor does not seem to be the only network that will be reached by Facebook and it is expected that very soon, this service will be provided by other telecom giants of the industry like Ufone and Mobilink.
