Tesla Motors is waiting to get a bill signed by the Governor of New Jersey in order to carry on with trade in the state

Tesla Motors has a history of getting into trouble with the authorities before which is the reason why this recent news has got a lot of attention. The CEO of the company, Elon Musk, is once again exposed to the risk of getting into an altercation with the governor of New Jersey again. As for the previous records, the founder of the electric car company was seen to have accused the governor of the state to have somehow created a hindrance for the company to trade freely in New Jersey. This accusation took place last year in 2013.

However, this time around Musk needs to get a bill signed by the governor Chris Christie and analysts are making assumptions about how the governor is going to react to the request. The smart car company needs Christie’s signature for the purpose of trading the cars produced by the company in and out of the state of New Jersey. The previous accusation of Musk on Christie was about a backroom deal that Musk thought the governor was involved in which was the reason he blocked the automakers from running an agency related to motors and vehicles in the state.

Last year when Musk blamed Christie for not letting him carry on with the trade of his cars, the Governor dismissed the accusation saying that if the electric car makers want to do trade inside the state, they first need to follow the rules and walk on the right path. According to him, the company was not following the rules and laws that one company needs to adhere to before any kind of trade activity.

Tesla has now managed to do as the Governor asked it to do, and now the company has submitted a bill to the authorities in order to legalize their trade inside the state. The company has asked the permission to do sales in the most direct manner and this request of the company has now been sent to the Governor again. As for the law, Chris Christie has a total of forty-five days to give his say on the subject. As for a spokesperson who was available from the governor’s team, it was recorded that the matter is being ‘over viewed’ by him.

Analysts have analyzed the situation closely and have come to the conclusion that now it depends on the Governor’s action on which Tesla is currently relying. If the company gets the permission to do trade on the state, then they will have a chance to launch two huge showrooms in the state.
