Microsoft Launches Cheap Notebooks To Compete With Chromebooks

Microsoft has decided to come up with cheaper notebook computers for educational purposes which are meant to give Google Inc competition

Microsoft Corporation old rivalry with the tech giant Google Inc continues to grow. In the most recent software update, it was observed that the software giant has come up with a new plan to come up with new notebooks that will be a cheaper version of the Chromebooks that Google has been producing lately. These new cheap notebooks will be launched by the tech giant maximum by the end of the current fiscal year.

It is expected that these new notebook computers that Microsoft is planning to launch will give a tough time to the already established market of Google Inc and competition will rise from then onwards. According to a research made

the tech giant by a firm from Taipei, it was reported that the company will be launching the new computer with the exceptionally low prices by the middle of the current year.

The most recent Microsoft news claims that the main target audience of the company, currently, are the students and people from the sector of education as it is as established believe that students find it very difficult to buy expensive things as their allowance is little and they need to learn to work with the least expensive gadgets available in the market. Laptops and computers are something that students need to use all the time, thus offering them something that helps them complete their tasks and that too with a lower price than what is already available in the market is definitely going to gain popularity among the targeted group of people.

The notebook that Microsoft is working on will be coming up with a screen of 11.6 inches and will be compatible with the processors made by Intel which are also quite cheap. According to a recent report, the tech giant has signed a deal with a company in China called Taiwan Elitegroup which is famous for creating top class computers in a price that is not too much. This deal between the two companies has decided that one of the notebooks that the American tech giant is planning to launch will be manufactured by the Chinese company. The price of these educational notebook computers will be starting from as low as $179.

The process that will be followed by Microsoft for the sales of their new educational laptops will be carried

out in the same way

that the company did for the Classmate PC. The other notebook that the software company is planning to launch will be made by another Chinese company called 3NOD group and will be sold for a lesser price than the first one, for just $149.
