However it is believed that in order to renew the strategies to launch Beats Electronics again under the brand name of iTunes, Musicmetric will help the company a lot.

Musicmetric was launched in 2008 and it has been the giant in keeping a proper record of all the music sales downloads, and social network statistics of different artists, albums, and labels. The company says “Musicmetric is turning big data into big opportunities. Whether you're planning your first album launch or a global tour, on the lookout for new talent or after some killer intelligence to help pick your next brand ambassador, the Musicmetric dashboard will quickly and simply tell you all you need to know.”

Musicmetric has also been in partnership with Spotify. Spotify integrated it within its services to merge all of its data with Musicmetric’s profile users. “Spotify has a partnership with Musicmetric to pipe in streaming data for labels to access via the latter’s dashboard,” says Musicmetric.
