Apple Is A Bigger Commodity Than Google In The United States

AAPL and GOOG:plain

Apple Macbooks sales are far more than Google Chromebooks making accusations futile.

In this technology-based era where the world is more reliant on technology than anything else, it is not an unheard phenomenon that controversies and allegations which most of the times are false arise. In this era, the search engine giant launched their Google Chromebooks that were said to have overtaken the popularity of Apple’s MacBook.  This claim by Google Inc. resulted in immense criticism since the statement issued by the company was extremely false, misleading and deceiving.

Financial Times, a popular publication published an article which made false claims that Apple Inc. has lost its market over GOOG. This sort of journalism by a reputable publication can cause immense disruption. The writer who composed this article did not do his proper research and just produced a piece on the basis of estimations done by the IDC. This article created a lot of mishap for All those who keep a close watch on these companies.

The best part about this article was that at one point the writer mentioned that "Apple retains a slight lead over Google.”

In this article, they claimed that Google has surpassed the use of Apple in the educational sector whereas mid of the article they claim that Apple succeeds to maintain its lead. It seems that the writer did not have his facts right. This is a massive blunder by such a big company since if established publications that are followed by masses as well as young journalist who wish to have a future in this field will also compose pieces where reality is obscured and misleading.

Apple and Google are prominent brands and kind of different from one another so passing such statements which do not have any ground can create a lot of problems for both the commodities.

In journalism it is extremely important to draft facts; in case facts are manipulated then the results can be extremely hazardous. What seems the case, this article is extremely biased where the writer has expressed his hatred for Apple products with mere ease.

One cannot really deny that Google Chromebooks are being sold on a mass level, but this reach is saturated to a limited audience. This audience is extremely scarce in number so the comparison is mere injustice to the popularity of Apple products and services. Apart from this Apple never considered Google to be their competitor in terms of products and services then igniting such controversies becomes vain and futile.

For writers, it is essential to check facts before making any judgments which will help make life easier for many.
