McDonald’s Corporation (MCD) is likely to embrace a massive milestone, the company which has been present since a fairly long time is all set to celebrate its 75th anniversary. The company was founded by Maurice and Richard McDonald's as a BBQ joint that transformed itself into a fast food behemoth. However, the upcoming week is extremely important for the firm with several earnings and conferences lined up.

Firstly, the company turns 75 years old. The company on an average serves 25 million individuals daily across the globe. However, despite its mass presences, it has been struggling. The new Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Mr. Easterbook by launching healthier food options for consumers.

This is a great year for the company where it will complete its 75 year of service. However, despite being a major benchmark for them where they have sustained for so long in the industry still they have not been able to make a difference or make their performance better.

McDonald’s menu is facing immense criticism since the preferences of the consumers in United States has changed. People are now more inclined to consume healthier food alternatives that they are not up for the hamburgers that were actually quite attractive initially. The obesity is one of the problems which is why weight watchers have increased and popularity is going down.

The CEO of the firm knows that the company has been stumbling since it came in his leadership and only massive experimentation can actually help them in making a difference. Previously, there were several issues that caused disruption among them wages of employees also became a severe problem where workers complained about being underpaid. Moreover, certain workers also experienced several wounds and burns while working in the kitchens that did not really have proper arrangements of first aid or safety.
